This 1/2" NPT Milton micro filter comes equipped with a pre-assembled automatic overnight drain, which activates when the air supply is turned off or when liquid accumulates in the filter bowl. The 3 stage baffle system included in this micro filter provides exceptional moisture removal. The porous bronze sintered 40 micron filter element allows for lower pressure drops and longer intervals between cleanings.

Micro filters are essential for removing harmful water or oil condensate, pipe scale, dirt, and rust from compressed air systems. They are typically used as pre-filters before coalescing type filters to ensure optimal efficiency and extend the life of the filter element. The corrosion-resistant metal bowl of this micro filter has a 6 ounce capacity.

This micro filter has a maximum pressure of 250 PSI and can handle up to 100 SCFM at 100 PSI. It is recommended to install this filter upstream from regulators to ensure proper functionality. The temperature range for this micro filter is from 40 degrees Fahrenheit to 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
