MILTON FRIEDMAN: SELECTED SUMMARIES

One of the fundamental thinkers of neoconservative, also known as neoliberal, thought, Friedman begins his reasoning as follows: "SOMEONE MUST GIVE ORDERS TO ENSURE THAT THE RIGHT PRODUCTS ARE MADE", in the precise quantities, to be available in the necessary places. Orders must be accompanied by voluntary cooperation (a technique for coordinating the activities of a large number of people). Just as no society operates completely on the hierarchical principle, neither does any operate exclusively on the basis of voluntary cooperation: EVERY SOCIETY HAS ELEMENTS OF IMPOSITION. Underground voluntary exchange can prevent the collapse of an economy based on orders, keep it going, and even make some progress.
