Milton 519 15 Hose Whip

This heavy-duty 15-inch hose whip is designed to replace the old hose on the original dual head inflator gauge #516.

For best results, follow the instructions below:

1. If you are using a dual head type tire chuck with an inflator gauge and you notice air escaping through the off-side once connected to the tire’s Schrader valve, follow these steps:
2. Release the trigger and remove the inflator from the Schrader/tire valve.
3. Point the straight side of the outlet up into the air (be sure it’s not pointed at anyone).
4. Squeeze the trigger to allow air to flow (gravity will cause the sealing valve to drop).

5. Place the chuck end onto the Schrader/tire valve while air is still flowing. This will allow air to flow into the tire.

6. Please note that dual head type tire chucks are not able to inflate a completely flat (zero air pressure) tire. This is because the tire air pressure normally causes the sealing valve to move and seal the unused side of the chuck. However, if a tire has 0 air pressure, the self-sealing valve will not react.
